Meeting with the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia

A meeting was held at the Third World Conference on Creative Economy with the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Sandiaga Uno. From the Uzbek side, the meeting was attended by Director of the Cultural Heritage Agency Bakhodir Abdikarimov, Adviser to the Executive Director and Head of the Communications Department and Strategic Development of the Foundation Elmurod Nazhimov, as well as Head of the Education and Inclusion Department of the Foundation Madina Badalova. The possibility of signing a Memorandum on the joint development of the museum industry and the creative sector in the country was discussed.

Sandiaga Uno expressed his longstanding interest in the culture of Uzbekistan and its brightest representatives. Thanks to the upcoming conference in 2024, it will be possible to visit the country and establish cooperation in projects both initiated and supported by the State, and within private cultural initiatives, boosting the development of tourism in the country, supporting the museum sector and promoting the exchange of experience among international experts.
